BSEH Class 12: Jasmeet Kaur Karnal’s taxi driver’s daughter secures second position with 99.4% in Haryana

Jasmeet Kaur of Sant Nikka Singh Public School, Karnal has secured the second position in the Haryana School Education Board’s Class 12 examination with 99.4% marks, the results of which were declared on Monday.

Jashmeet Kaur Scored 497 out of 500 Overall
According to his marksheet, Jasmeet scored 497 marks out of 500 with a perfect 100 marks in three subjects – Accounts, Business Studies and Computers. She got one mark less than overall topper Nancy of Bhiwani’s Nav Bharat Senior Secondary School, who topped the exam by scoring 498 out of 500 marks in commerce stream.

Jasmeet’s father Harvinder Pal Singh is a taxi driver and her mother Manjit Kaur is a teacher in a private school. Jasmeet lives in a rented house in Karnal with her parents and younger brother and aspires to become a chartered accountant.
Jasmeet Kaur said, “Due to the Covid restrictions, I could not make it to the list of top three rank holders in class 10th and wanted to achieve this goal in class 12th. I worked with dedication and consistency for this achievement.”
She said that she did not take any coaching and did self-study under the guidance of her school teachers.
“No one is my role model. My sole aim is to become a successful Chartered Accountant and I will continue to work hard to make my dream come true.”

Jasmeet said that she is not a bookworm and does not spend much time on social media.
Her school principal Kavita Arora said that Jasmeet is the first student of the school to be among the top three students of the state. Dr. KL Dang, Director, Sant Nikka Singh Public School also congratulated Jasmeet and her teachers on her success.
