The release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Jawaan’ has been delayed yet again. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on June 2, 2023, but then it was pushed to August 11, 2023, due to post-production work. However, according to the latest reports, the film’s release date has been delayed further.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Film ‘Animal’ Causes The Delay
The news is that Ranbir Kapoor, who is also set to release his film ‘Animal‘ on the same day, felt that the clash would negatively affect the earnings of his movie. Therefore, he secretly requested Shahrukh Khan to push back the release of ‘Jawaan’. This delay was reportedly approved by the makers of ‘Jawaan’ and has caused the film to be postponed once again.
About The Film ‘Animal’
‘Animal’ is a Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial starring Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. It revolves around a father-son relationship, a bond that has never been portrayed on-screen before. Rashmika Mandanna and Parineeti Chopra will also be seen in the film. The film will be released in 5 different languages.

Gadar 2 Also Set To Release On August 11
In addition to ‘Animal’, Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2′ is also slated to release on August 11, 2023. The film is said to have inspired the ‘Quit India Movement’, and the makers believe that there is no better time to release it than now. If ‘Jawaan’ had also been released on August 11, all three films would have suffered losses due to the clash.

Initially, it was speculated that ‘Jawaan’ would release on June 2, 2023, but due to the requirement for high-quality VFX, the date was shifted.
