Shah Rukh Khan has rejected all claims that he was involved in bringing back eight former Indian Navy officers imprisoned in Qatar. Shahrukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani has issued a statement on behalf of King Khan and clarified that the discussion of King Khan’s involvement in this case is baseless.
Former Union Minister and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday claimed on Twitter that Shah Rukh Khan played a role in the release of marines from Qatar. He wrote, “Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) should take Shah Rukh Khan with him to Qatar because Modi requested Khan to intervene when the Ministry of External Affairs and NSA failed to convince the Sheikhs of Qatar. “Subsequently, an expensive compromise was made to free our naval officers.”
