Raipur, Chhattisgarh – In a heart-wrenching incident, popular YouTuber Devraj Patel, renowned for his comedic prowess and famous for the catchphrase ‘Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,’ tragically lost his life on Monday following a fatal road accident. The 22-year-old social media sensation was riding pillion on a motorcycle that collided with a truck in Raipur’s Labhandi area, resulting in his untimely demise.
Devraj Patel, hailing from Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh, had gained widespread recognition through his YouTube channel, Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai, boasting an impressive subscriber base of over 400,000 and an astounding 8.80 crore views. Known for his witty style and humorous content, Patel’s videos never failed to bring smiles to the faces of his dedicated followers.
The unfortunate incident occurred at approximately 3:30 pm when Patel and his friend, Rakesh Manhar, were returning from a video shoot in Nava Raipur. While riding alongside a truck in the same direction, the handle of their motorcycle accidentally brushed against the heavy vehicle. Consequently, Patel, seated at the back, tragically came under the rear wheel of the truck, leading to the fatal outcome.
Emergency services were promptly summoned, and an ambulance rushed Patel to a nearby hospital. However, the medical team declared him deceased upon arrival. Miraculously, Rakesh Manhar, the bike rider, escaped with minor injuries. The loss of such a talented individual at such a young age has left the entire community in deep sorrow.
