How reports are reviewed
The newsroom checks the published wording against source material, reporting notes, and any new evidence. Requests from people involved in a story are considered carefully but do not automatically determine the outcome.
Corrections and clarifications
A material factual error is corrected in the article and accompanied by a visible note explaining what changed. A clarification may be added when the original wording was accurate but incomplete or open to a misleading interpretation.
Routine updates
Spelling, formatting, broken links, and non-material presentation changes may be fixed without a formal correction note. Developing stories may receive time-stamped updates.
