Fact-Checking Policy

Verification priorities

Names, dates, roles, release information, quotes, box-office figures, credits, and legal claims are checked against the strongest available sources.

Source hierarchy

Primary evidence is preferred. When only secondary reporting is available, the article attributes the claim and avoids presenting it as independently confirmed.

Rumours and developing reports

Rumours are labelled clearly. A repeated claim does not become verified simply because many sites published it.

Database records

Movie and person records can combine official sources and reputable databases. Conflicts are held for editorial review, and source provenance is retained where available.
